Foodies, ready your tastebuds for the finger lickin’ Bangalow BBQ and Bluegrass Festival. Dedicated to delicious eats and excellent music, the not-for-profit event is raising funds for local arts and culture – that’s win win in our books!

Kicking off on Friday August 17, the Old Time Variety Show is happening once again at the A&I Hall. With over 70 artists on hand to dish up a smorgasbord of entertainment alongside some sensational barbecue, it’s guaranteed to be one heck of an evening. All artists are volunteers and all proceeds go back into our Original Music Artists Bursaries. With limited seating, it’s sure to sell out fast, so get your tickets post haste!

The fun continues on Saturday August 18 with the BBQ & Bluegrass Festival at the Bangalow Showgrounds from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The family friendly event features a line-up of incredible musicians including The Mid North, Long Yard, The Cartridge Family and John Flanagan Trio, to name a few alongside the always popular barbecue competition. There will tasting plates available for $10 and if you have little ones in tow, keep them entertained with one of the many games available for just $2.
