From May 12 to July 15, Gold Coasters and visitors are invited to witness the city’s cultural and artistic evolution at HOTA’s We are Gold Coast exhibition. As part of the exhibition, kids aged 5 to 16 years are invited to design and make a tiny, shimmery, sparkly Gold Coast sunshine dome (that were very popular in the 70s and 80s) on June 9.

Session 1 10:00 am for ages 5yrs – 10yrs

Session 2 1:00 pm for ages 11yrs – 16yrs

Local artist Byron Coathup, of Super Souvenir, will help kids explore and build their very own souvenir based on what they think the Gold Coast means to them.  They will create a Gold Coast fantasy land to treasure and take home!
