Ready for a night of fun under the stars? American Express Openair Cinemas Gold Coast will stage 36 events on the water’s edge at Broadwater Parklands in Southport from Thursday March 14 through to Sunday April 14. The festival vibes will be in full swing with an array of entertainment, live music and DJ performances before the latest and greatest feature films light up the big screen. The Gold Coast program boasts an exciting mix of highly anticipated new releases and box office hits including Aquaman, Glass, Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as A Star is Born, Green Book and The Favourite. Families can choose from a selection of family-friendly titles including: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World and A Dog’s Way Home. Everyone can chillax to the max with a variety of seating options available, and you can add a touch of comfort to your night under the stars with a blanket or lounger, which can be hired as part of any ticket package. There will be food options like antipasto and woodfired pizzas from Italian favourite Salt Meats Cheese, plus ice-cream and a full-service bar with everything from craft beer to champagne and Pimm’s cocktails. Oh, and it’s dog friendly too! Tickets start at $17 and are on sale now through Openair Cinemas.
