No, it’s not the resurrection of the much-loved music festival that you remember from summer days of yore. It’s even better. Get ready for the 2021 Pig Day Out this weekend which will feature all things … guinea pig! We’re talking a Piggy Judging Competition (let’s be realistic, who can choose between multiple small furry animals?), guinea pig nail clipping, children’s activities, raffles, a sausage sizzle and Mr. Mooberry real fruit ice cream. The fun day for guinea pigs and their owners is being held by local rescue group Gold Coast Guinea Pig Rescue with tickets available for $10 per family of four or $5 per person.
