Revel after-dark at Miami Tavern with Yes Sir Noceur

Catch local four-piece Yes Sir Noceur alongside Casette Cathedral and Love Cannons this Saturday night at Miami Shark Bar for an evening of live music and maybe a little debauchery.

If you’re a fan of The Doors then we’re willing to go out on a limb and suggest you will enjoy local four-piece Yes Sir Noceur. While still relatively new on the scene, Yes Sir Noceur has garnered a cult-like following from music lovers that are enamoured by the band’s signature Zeppelin-esque riffs and surf-infused, psychedelic, progressive rock.

The gig, presented by Jam Jar, is bound to be a big one if the latter part of the band’s name is anything to go by. ‘Noceur’ is derived from the French word for reveller or one who stays up late. Yes Sir Noceur’s set is jam-packed with epic tracks that showcase frontman Marc Cowie’s impeccable pipes alongside the brilliantly diverse musical stylings of brothers Elliot and Harry Toll on guitar and bass and Rory Switzer on drums.

Check out the band’s Triple J Unearthed page or just head along to the Shark Bar this Saturday night to catch Yes Sir Noceur in person.
