A glam pineapple caravan heralds the arrival of W Brisbane

We’re less than a day away from the official opening of Brisbane’s newest five-star hotel W Brisbane and to celebrate, the hotel is kicking off one massive party. Want to know the best thing about this party? It’s mobile! This glamorous shindig will be brightening up Queen Street Mall at midday today before hitting the road and shimmying its way south.

We’ve been waiting 20 years to see the arrival of a new five-star hotel in Brisbane, so you’d best believe we’re going to pop a few bottles to celebrate the arrival of the latest. The opening of W Brisbane on Friday June 1 marks the brands re-entry into Australia, with the highly anticipated destination set to revitalise North Quay and its stretch of the Brisbane riverside. Before we can squeeze ourselves inside for a peek, W Brisbane is encouraging us to party, unveiling a custom-designed caravan that’ll be touring the east coast, spreading glittery vibes along the way.

The lovechild of a giant pineapple and a disco ball, the W Pineapple Caravan is a shining beacon of beauty that stands four-metres tall and is equipped with DJ decks. From midday today – Thursday May 31 – Queen Street Mall will host the vivacious vehicle, with rising DJ talent spinning tunes until 3:00 pm. For the next week, the W Pineapple Caravan will be taking the party to the people, travelling from Brisbane to the Gold Coast on Saturday June 2 for a party at Pacific Fair, followed by stops in Byron Bay and Melbourne before wrapping up in Sydney on Saturday June 9. Revellers can score a ticket to W Brisbane’s premiere party by finding the W Pineapple Caravan, taking a snap with it and posting it to Instagram with a 20 word or less caption as to why you should win, along with the tags #WBrisbane #WRoadtrip. As for the hotel itself, you can get a glimpse inside right now!
