Some of the world’s biggest music makers are set to descend on the coast this October for a massive two-night concert series as part of the Vodafone Gold Coast 600. While the iconic annual motorsport festival is very much about nail-biting racing, burning rubber and fast, loud Supercars, you’ll certainly want to ditch the protective ear muffs after sundown when names like British DJ Carl Cox and festival superstars Hot Dub Time Machine hit the trackside stage to send their beats far and wide.

With winter a distant memory, things are now officially heating up across the city – and nothing (and we mean nothing) ignites the enthusiasm for spring quite like the arrival of the Vodafone Gold Coast 600. When you start to see the chicanes set up along the beach roads of Surfers Paradise, you know it’s that time of year – and that air of excitement will hit its peak on the weekend of October 25-27. While the iconic event will be buzzing with intense, edge-of-your-seat racing action by day, the party will rev-up even more after dark with seven major music acts to perform across two nights on two brand-new mega stages located inside the race track.

The Club 600 Stage will be taken over by a party-starting mix of internationally renowned dance artists across the weekend, with house and techno king DJ Carl Cox headlining the Friday night slot alongside special guest and global dance sensation, DJ Eric Powell. While on Saturday, ticket holders will be dancing trackside to the insane tunes of Hot Dub Time Machine and Brisbane-based British tune maker Example. Live and loud pop and alternative rock will be the vibe over at the The Hill Stage, with renowned Australian acts Kingswood, The Vanns and Mental as Anything rounding out a jam-packed weekend of tunes at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600. Friends, that’s a massive line-up – and you know the best part? It’s all included in your Vodafone Gold Coast 600 ticket. So you can soak up the sunshine amid the atmosphere of the nail-biting racing by day, then let your hair down and dance the night away to some of the world’s biggest artists – all right here in our own backyard.
