Be spoilt for choice this Valentine’s Day at The Star
The day to celebrate love is fast approaching, and when it comes to nailing Valentine’s Day, the key is planning ahead. Whether it be a casual or decadent dining experience you’re looking for, a romantic date for two or a get together with your besties, The Star Gold Coast has something for everyone’s taste this Valentine’s Day.
You won’t be left hungry with Cucina Vivo dishing up authentic Italian food, top-notch wine and plenty of charm for Valentine’s Day. Diners will be treated to its mouth-watering a la carte menu of heavenly housemade pastas, flame-licked woodfired pizzas and traditional favourites on February 14. Just leave enough room for a chocolate cannoli or two.
Meanwhile, cutting-edge Japanese dining spot Kiyomi will be serving up its famed offering of melt-in-your-mouth sashimi, eye-catching sushi, binchotan delights and expertly crafted cocktails to all of the loved-up folk – be quick, though, as Kiyomi’s exclusive dining space books out. Trust us when we say you don’t want to miss out on the chef’s Kuro Mori dessert, with dark chocolate, Roku gin, Davidson plum and umeboshi (an exclusive season of love treat).
For a more relaxed romantic evening, make your way to Garden Kitchen & Bar for a lounge on the lawn with a cocktail from the carefully curated menu and an ice-cream sandwich speciality that is guaranteed to sweeten your evening.
Have more than one love in your life? Bring a whole group together for Cantonese favourites at Uncle Su with a specialty banquet menu starting from $78 per person that will leave you and all your guests with a satisfied smile. Or for those who prefer to choose their own adventure, order from the a la carte menu for a seafood extravaganza of snow crab, Australian lobster and abalone that will melt your heart with delicious delight.
When Valentine’s Day is a family affair, head to Harvest Buffet. With fresh seafood including oysters, prawns, crab and mussels, and the unbeatable roast carvery, there will be something for the whole family to fall in love with. Plus an abundant dessert bar with flowing chocolate fountain.
If it’s the finer things that make your heart sing, head sky-high for an opulent four-course dining experience at Nineteen at The Star on February 14. Executive chef Uday Huja’s one-off Valentine’s Day menu traverses land and sea – starting with entrees of Queensland spanner crab with toasted almond and witlof. Nineteen’s signature John Dory makes an appearance on the mains (this time with garden peas, baby potatoes and lemon butter) alongside a perfect fillet steak with potato pavê, roasted shallot, black garlic and bordelaise.
