Under The Southern Stars brings rock royalty to the Gold Coast this March
At long last, live music is back! This March, Under The Southern Stars is bringing a jam-packed line-up of rock royalty to the Gold Coast for one incredible afternoon of live music. International acts Cheap Trick, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will join legendary Aussie rock acts for this all-star festival at Southport Sharks.
If you were to create a playlist featuring your favourite rock anthems of all time, it’s pretty likely that it would feature more than a few selections from Under The Southern Star’s star-studded line-up. Bush’s ‘Glycerine’, ‘I Want You to Want Me’ by Cheap Trick, and pretty much everything from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Rose Tattoo would undoubtedly make the cut. If you are nodding at your screen right now whilst simultaneously humming the chorus to BRMC’s ‘Ain’t No Easy Way’, go ahead and block out Saturday March 26 for Under The Southern Stars.
After a couple of Covid-related cancellations, we know what you’re thinking – will it really go ahead? The short answer is yes! All of the festival’s international acts have received clearance from the Australian Department of Immigration for entry, so it’s on like Donkey Kong! If you currently hold tickets from any of the previously cancelled events, the good news is that your ticket is valid for this year’s event. Tickets are ordinarily $147, however, for a strictly limited time, Southport Sharks members can nab a ticket for just $50 plus booking fee! Hot tip, annual membership to the club is $5, so it’s a no-brainer!
