The African Children’s Choir is back with its second tour Under One Sky

They’ve sung for a lengthy list of celebrities, including the Queen, now the vibrant choir from Uganda is back in Australia, ready to capture the hearts of Gold Coast residents.

Following its sellout Australian tour in 2013, The African Children’s Choir is back by popular demand with its new tour, Under One Sky. Set to take to the Twin Towns stage on Saturday June 13 at 7:30 pm, the world-famous choir – composed of African children aged 7–10 years, many of whom have lost parents through war, famine and disease – will belt out well-loved children’s songs, accompanied by ethnic instrumentation.

Since 1984, the African Children’s Choir has toured the world with over 1000 participants in 42 different choirs and other special tours. The primary goal of the choir is to raise funds to provide quality education and life-changing opportunities for some of Africa’s most vulnerable children. Once they have completed a concert tour, choir members return to their homelands with the tools necessary for bettering their future.

Under One Sky is not just an outstanding show of musical and dancing excellence, it’s a joyful experience that will capture your heart and leaving you beaming, long after the show is over.
