Celebrate Christmas early with festive bites, bubbles and beats at The Star’s Not So Silent Night
We are mere weeks away from Christmas and the oodles of festive events that come with it – and boy, are we excited. One jolly soiree that should not be missed is Not So Silent Night, which is set to bring merriment and Santa-approved revelry to The Star Gold Coast on Saturday December 12. This ballroom party will kick off the silly season with sublime sips, a four-course feast and live entertainment, so strap in for one lavish affair!
If you need any excuse to get into the yuletide spirit and celebrate Christmas early – The Star’s Not So Silent Night is it. Held inside the Event Centre’s opulently appointed ballroom, this starry soiree will see revellers devour a decadent four-course dinner, which includes the likes of cranberry, pecan and goats cheese truffle, poached king prawns with peri-peri vinaigrette, turkey with all of the trimmings, and beef fillet with speck, farro, charred shallots and blackberry jus. To finish off on a sweet note, diners will tuck in to a mango panna cotta with macadamia nut shortbread and lime-and-pineapple compote for dessert, as well as a sumptuous selection of handmade chocolate truffles. It can all be washed down with four hours’ worth of beverages – think local sparkling, red and white wines, and beers.
Now, let’s talk the fun stuff. The entertainment will be turning it on (and up – this is a not so silent night, after all), with superstar MC (doing triple duty as a host, DJ and beatbox feature performer) Johnny Drama and a line-up of killer acts helping you party down! The theme for this year’s jolly festivities is Magical White Christmas, so don your best sparkly white outfit and get ready to sip and snack to your heart’s content. Tickets for this starry soiree are $180 and can be secured here. Be quick as they are strictly limited – the first release sold out in record time. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, guests won’t be able to dance inside the venue, but you’re still guaranteed to have a ball of a time!
