Summer is back, baby! If you’re already feeling the heat, we have some very refreshing news. Up until now, the palatial pool at The Star Grand has been reserved for the fortunate folk who happen to be guests of the hotel – but as Bob Dylan once mused, the times they are a-changin’ and until the end of January, locals are able to enjoy the dreamy pool facility as a day guest by booking their own private cabana – complete with frozen margaritas and Mexican eats!
Unless you’ve had the pleasure of staying at The Star, it’s likely you’ve never even set eyes on this glistening oasis of happiness, but now you can sip, dip and savour all day long with a range of packages that are available to day guests. In addition to your own private cabana, you can take full advantage of the a-la-carte food and drink service, which will be slinging all of your fave Mexican munchies including tacos, nachos and burrito bowls alongside a couple of loaded burgers, hot chips, churros and of course, frozen margaritas from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm – helloooo happiness!
The basic cabana packages start at $95 for the Poolside Circular Lounge through to $225 for The Podium, which is suitable for two to six people. If you’re really keen to make the most of your experience, upgrade to the Azure Cabana Package and enjoy two 60-minute massages, two-hour private cabana hire, a bottle of Chandon, Fiji water and crisp towels.
