Strut & Fret reveals a star-studded program for The Spiegeltent Gold Coast
From April 17 to May 12, the city will be graced with the presence of The Spiegeltent Gold Coast – a spectacular entertainment venue that will be erected in the heart of Broadbeach, playing host to a star-studded program of performances. Renowned production house Strut & Fret (the insanely talented team who brought us Blanc de Blanc) has just dropped the line-up of acts, featuring some of the biggest names in music, cabaret, comedy and theatre. Here’s what you need to know.
A short time ago, we shared the spiegeltent’s first’s major acts – LIMBO Unhinged and a dreamy one-night-only performance from Katie Noonan. Now, after much anticipation, the entire program for The Spiegeltent Gold Coast has been revealed. The line-up is simply stellar, so we’ll rattle off a few names to get you excited – Matt Okine, Dave Hughes, Peter Helliar, Osher Günsberg, Paul McDermott and Steven Gates. That’s right – this is Australian comedy royalty and they are all being let loose on the Gold Coast.
Take a deep breath, because there’s more – Tom Gleeson, Tommy Little, Lano & Woodley, John Safran, Joan As Police Woman (Joan Wasser) and Carlotta: Queen of The Cross. Yep, we told you this was big. The Spiegeltent Gold Coast, which will also feature a pop-up bar and food trucks, will be situated at The Gold Coast Bulletin Centenary Park (opposite The Star Gold Coast) from April 17 to May 12 – be sure to save the dates!
