Ring in 2015 at Surfers Paradise New Year’s Carnival
New Year’s Eve is always a great excuse to party – so why not head to the biggest family friendly party on the coast on December 31 and celebrate the countdown with a bang.
Surfers Paradise is pulling out all the stops this year for its New Year’s Carnival –fireworks, entertainment and fun for the whole family. The festivities will be running from December 27 in the lead up to the big night, with carnival rides, kids’ slides and more spread out along the Surfers Paradise foreshore.
On New Year’s Eve, the night will be all about Superheroes of Paradise. Kids of all ages are encouraged to come along dressed as their favourite superhero character, and have their photo taken alongside some of their idols.
The night will include two massive fireworks displays, one at the family-friendly time of 8:00 pm and one at midnight. This will be one of Queensland’s biggest fireworks displays, certainly one you cannot miss. Make sure to plan ahead when arranging travel to and from Surfers Paradise as the foreshore is looking to be a hub of new years activity.
