SURF n' Ink Tattoo Festival takes over Broadbeach

SURF n’ Ink Tattoo Festival takes over Broadbeach

The buzz of hundreds of tattoo guns simultaneously inscribing human canvasses will take over Broadbeach from January 9–11 as SURF n’ Ink Tattoo Festival comes to town.

From Friday through to Sunday, the streets of Broadbeach will be teeming with inked individuals and colourful characters as the SURF n’ Ink Tattoo Festival takes over the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The three-day festival celebrates tattoo culture and attracts body-art enthusiasts from around the county and abroad.

This year, the festival is tipped to offer the largest line-up of artists including tattooists from Peru, Ecuador, Italy, Japan, Germany, China, Taiwan, France, USA, Belgium, New Zealand and Samoa, as well as some of the Gold Coast’s own rising stars. Patrons can relish the opportunity to be inked onsite by artists hailed in tattoo circles as the best in the business.

Even if you’re not in the market for a new tattoo, you can peruse living portfolios, catch demonstrations and enjoy art exhibitions, live music and fashion as well as the popular Mr and Miss SURF n’ Ink competitions.
