Don’t be alarmed if you see an influx of zombies and super heroes getting around Broadbeach this weekend. Supanova is coming to town and bringing with it a mammoth line-up of events including panels, interactive competitions, pinball championships and even a karaoke competition. The star-studded expo brings people from all genres and passions together to celebrate fantasy and geekery of all kinds.

Touted as one of the strongest line-up of events yet, this year offers the world premier screening of the first two episodes of Marvel’s Daredevil, an exclusive screening of the newly represented classic Thunderbirds Are Go!, behind the scenes cast and crew panels from the new feature film Infini, and exclusive behind the scenes footage from Mad Max: Fury Road. There are also guest appearances from a plethora of celebrities from your favourite movies and television shows including Christopher Lloyd, also known as the manic Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown from Back To The Future, James Cosmo, from Game of Thrones and Sons of Anarchy, Dolph Lundgren, from Rocky IV fame, Charisma Carpenter from Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as Rachel Skarsten from Fifty Shades of Grey, to name a few. Browse the Supanova Pop Culture Expo program of events ahead of time so you don’t miss a thing!
