Street Food Cove market to launch at Mariner’s Cove in January
Gold Coast foodies, get set – there is a new food truck market coming to the Gold Coast. Street Food Cove will make its debut on January 21 at Mariner’s Cove in Main Beach. You know what that means? Fisho’s is back on the map!
The team at the Gold Coast Design Collective Market have announced the new market in conjunction with Mariner’s Cove, which will be staged in and around the boardwalk space alongside Fisho’s. Who remembers Sundays at Fisho’s? Man, they were all-time, so we’re pretty excited to see Mariner’s Cove’s awesome waterfront space being utilised used for the city’s latest food truck and creative market. There will be live beats from local musicians and market stalls to enjoy whilst you tuck into some tasty food truck fare. The site is currently being transformed with a nautical theme – so think lots of white wood, fairy lights and a super-fun waterside vibe.
The event on January 21, which will kick off at 3:00 pm and run until 9:00 pm, is the first of what is planned (and hoped) to be a monthly gig. But, like anything, that all depends on how many of you fine folk turn up to get it off the ground! That’s code for make sure you put January 21 in big black bold letters in your diary – this new waterside foodie paradise is going to be a big one. A selection of the big names in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales food trucks are on board, including Pearl of the Quarter (hellllo soft-shell crab buns), JR’s Smokehouse, Boss Bites, Little Wahaca, Little Havana, Food Kartel and many more, so come on an empty stomach. Be sure to keep across the Facebook page for updates.
