Short and sweet is the name of the game at SIPFest

SIPFest, otherwise known as the Shorts in Paradise Festival, is an annual showcase of the best short films from across Down Under. Moving from Neal Shannon Park to Surfers Paradise Beach, SIPFest now boasts one of the most picturesque spots to watch a film on the entire coast. Thrillers, dramas, comedy and animated films will be on display at the outdoor theatre, with judges awarding approximately $5,000 worth of prize money of participating filmmakers

Like the films it is showcasing SIPFest will be a short and sweet affair, taking place for one night only from 6:30 pm on April 12. Grab a blanket or some beach chairs and head to Surfers Paradise for a night of amazing short films. SIPFest forms part of the wider Gold Coast Film Festival that transforms various venues along the Gold Coast into hubs of vibrant and unique cinema from April 9 to 19.
