Roll out a rug and snuggle in for Seafire 2016. The annual event brings Queensland’s best pyro-technicians together to battle it out for your enjoyment. Each team will take it in turns to impress with cutting-edge fireworks synchronised to a spectacular sci-fi anthemic music track – think Indiana Jones meets Star Wars with a Top 40 twist – to celebrate Supanova Pop Culture Expo, which is also in town this weekend.

Each display will build to a spectacular finale, a duelling display of fireworks with both barges firing simultaneously in a brilliant display of colour and sound. During intermission, audiences will be entertained by jet-ski freestyle stunt teams and parachutists in light-up costumes. Seafire 2016 is a free, family-friendly event and the fun kicks off at 7:00 pm.
