Scenic Rim Eat Local Week plates up regional produce and roadtrip-worthy events
Featuring more than 125 events from Canungra to The Lost World, Beaudesert to Boonah, Tamborine Mountain to Kalbar, Scenic Rim Eat Local Week is the ultimate backstage pass to the farms, wineries and food stories of the region. This year the much-loved food festival is celebrating ten years with a smorgasbord of delicious events happening from June 26 to July 4.
If you consider yourself a foodie or you’ve been itching to get take a roadtrip west, hop in your car and head to the Scenic Rim to sample some of the region’s finest at Scenic Rim Eat Local Week. Discover furry friends and flavoursome fare at a farm tour and picnic lunch at Summer Land Camels, tuck in to a long lunch full of Dutch-inspired winter warmers, learn some new culinary skills at a Thai fusion cooking class or indulge in a five-course degustation dinner spotlighting regional produce. The nine-day festival will cap off with its signature event, the Winter Harvest Festival, which brings many of the region’s producers together in one location with killer live music, exciting entertainment and family-friendly fun.
