Catch a flick at Sanctuary Film Festival

Catch a flick at Sanctuary Film Festival

If you’re a film buff, you might want to cancel your plans from Sunday November 8 through to Tuesday November 10 because the inaugural Sanctuary Film Festival gets underway at Sanctuary Cove.

The projectors at the Village Theatre Sanctuary Cove will fire up on Sunday for the first annual Sanctuary Film Festival. Celebrating filmmakers from Australia and abroad, the event offers short films that span the spectrum of genres so there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone.

Glam up for the red carpet launch event on Sunday and indulge in a couple of beverages and hors d’oeuvres, catch a VIP screening of RISE and Fear of Darkness on Monday November 9 and then on Tuesday, settle in for Pipe Dream and the Australian premiere of International Feature winner, The Incredible Adventures of Jojo (and his annoying little sister Avila).

If you’re in the mood for a bite before or after the show, try Black Angus Bar and Grill, The Covenant or George’s Paragon Pizza and Wine Bar.
