Soak up the vibes at the Robina Farmers Market and Street Eat Sundays

How’s this for a perfect Sunday morning – sipping lattes in the park, doing your food shopping, buying vintage clothes and designer homewares, munching on food-truck nosh, and listening to live music. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, that’s exactly what’s in store on August 27 when the Robina Farmers Market and Street Eat Sundays hits the grounds of Robina State School for the first time.

The new farmers market and street food event will feature stalls from farmers, producers, growers, makers, designers and crafters. Plus, there will be plant stalls, eco and health products, baked goods, as well as vintage and handmade clothing and homewares. We’re told to expect a real ‘community’ vibe – think breakfast picnics under retro umbrellas, live music, and a real focus on home-grown produce and products from small local businesses.

The new Robina Farmers Market and Street Eat Sundays is another project from pop-up market extraordinares The Design Collective, who’ve teamed up with Robina State School and local councillor Herman Vorster to bring Robina its first regular farmers market. The market on Sunday August 27 will be the first of what will hopefully become a weekly market – but, like anything, the proof will be in the pudding – so you’d best get out and throw your support behind this first event! Head over to the event’s Facebook page to stay up to date.
