If markets, magnificent machines and live music sound like a recipe for a Sunday well spent, get a crew together for Retro Riot Street Party. The entire top floor of One 50 Public House will be converted into a bustling market with over 70 stalls brimming with unique and curious bits and bobs from days past including seaside treasures from The Sunlounge Collection, soy candles and vintage palm-printed cushions, among the range. Outside, a fleet of beautifully restored automobiles begs to be appreciated.

Retro Riot Street Party is hosted by the Gold Coast Design Collective Markets and offers a smorgasbord of things to see and do. Grab a spot on the deck and kick back with a beer, some tacos from Siguenos and enjoy stellar sounds from local surf reggae outfit Peach Fur, 1960s-esque blues duo The Cymatics Band and a set from DJ Mark Obrien who will be spinning plenty of retro beats. Best of all, it’s free! Gather the troops for a day of fun and festivities in the sunshine.
