Support Record Store Day with some new vinyl from #beatniks

If you appreciates the unmistakable crack of vinyl and the ritual of listening to a record from start to finish, get yourself along to the Gold Coast’s newest record store #beatniks in Broadbeach to celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday April 16.

A day in honour of the humble vinyl, Record Store Day is an annual event that is held on the third Saturday of April to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store. The day is designed to bring fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores across the world together to share in the joy of music. A limited number of records are pressed specifically for Record Store Day and distributed at random to shops participating in the event so not even the stores know what they are going to get, you just have to be there when the doors open to see for yourself.

#beatniks in Broadbeach is getting in on the fun with stacks of exclusive Record Store Day titles, 20 percent of pre-loved vinyl under $40 and when you spend $50 or more, you go in the draw to win a Pro-Ject turntable. Local DJ/funk outfit Don Bronsen and the Rhythm Traffickers will be on-hand delivering some sweet sweet tunes to get your groovin’ while you browse.
