A diverse selection of beats will soundtrack the night – plus you’re welcome to bring whatever record takes your fancy, from brand-new hip-hop to classic rock anthems. Iku’s owner Mitch was inspired to create the Monday night vinyl session to feel like you’re welcomed into a friend’s place, feeling so comfortable that you’re compelled to grab the aux cord and treat your mates to your selection of tunes.

Every Monday from 5:00 pm, Iku will sling its famous pork tonkotsu ramen – a cult crowd favourite boasting authentic creamy broth piled high with toppings. Pair it with a quality sip (a craft beer or a Japanese whisky, you choose) and sit back to be transported to another place by the power of music. Maybe that’s a stretch, but it’s not hard to imagine you’re snugly tucked away in a hidden gem of a bar in the backstreets of Tokyo.
