If you have to work on Tuesday (otherwise known as the day after Australia Day) then the responsible thing to do would be to celebrate Australia Day eve and have all of Monday to recover (or just kick-on right through at these Australia Day parties but that’s up to you!). QT’s Stingray bar is hosting an Australia Day Eve party this Sunday from 5:00 pm.

The normally dapper establishment is dressing down and welcoming a relaxed dress code in the spirit of our national day and will probably be the only time you’ll hear Cold Chisel, AC/DC and other classic Aussie songs cranked alongside tunes by DJ Boy London. Enjoy cold beers and summer cocktails on the terrace as you munch on gourmet Aussie treats and burgers from Stingray’s hot dog cart. If hot dogs and burgers won’t cut it, you could always head up to Bazaar and enjoy a fanciful buffet meal.
