Supanova Pop Culture Expo, Australia’s answer to Comic-Con, is coming to town and bringing with it a mammoth program of events including ‘cosplay’ (costume-role play), fan clubs, musical performances, Q&A panels, creative masterclasses, wrestling, tournaments and competitions. The expo celebrates the worlds of film and television, fantasy, comic books, anime, sci-fi, cartoons, books, gaming and collectables and is bringing a star-studded line-up of celebrities including Jack Gleeson, the evil boy king Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones, Eka Darville from Jessica Jones and Bonnie Wright, also known as Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter, among others.

To complement the happenings at Supanova Pop Culture Expo and Gold Coast Film Festival, QPOW on Broadbeach delivers a smorgasbord of free activities including movies in the park, a real life game of Quidditch, music and of course, the popular Supanova Superhero Parade.
