Gold Coast, it’s time to get fancy – Polo by the Sea is back again to light up our shores. The new-age spectator-friendly style of urban polo will be staged at Doug Jennings Park in Main Beach on Saturday May 27. Ladies, don the frocks and get a well-dressed gent on your arm – this is one open-air soiree you do not want to miss.
The action-packed day will be filled with glamour and horsepower, as the city’s movers and shakers gather amid the stables to soak up the vibes of one of the most anticipated events in the calendar. You’ll be set for a day of sophistication in the Polo Lounge, where you can relax in the beer garden to the tunes of live DJ’s as the polo gets underway. If you’ve really stepped things up a notch in the threads department, then you can enter yourself in the Pacific Fair Fashions on the Field (you totally should).
Alongside the general entry to the coastal Polo Lounge, there are a number of top-end ticket options if you’re keen to hang in the marquee with endless Pol Roger champagne – jump over here for the pricing options that will really let you treat ‘yo self. The Polo by the Sea event is capped at 3,000 spectators – so you’d best jump online to nab your tickets. The official after party is being held at The Star’s Garden Kitchen & Bar, so the cocktails will continue well into the night. Now here’s the hard part … what to wear?
