A pop-up ‘Insta museum’ for pets is landing on the Gold Coast this summer
If your phone is often reaching its storage limit because it’s jammed with thousands upon thousands of photos of your dog (or other people’s dogs), then be sure to make some room on your devices before November 29. Pet Stars – an Insta museum for pets – is arriving on the Gold Coast for a limited time, featuring 20 different pet-friendly scenes, backdrops and installations for the ultimate photo fest with your pet.
Pet Stars will make its debut at the Carrara Markets events space on Friday November 29, with the pop-up pet museum to run Thursday to Sunday until Sunday December 15. You’ll need to book your tickets (here) to either a dog or a cat session, which will give you access to 20 eye-popping rooms and immersive, pet-friendly installations – you can hang out with your pooch or cat and snap away to your heart’s content (or until your furry friend has had enough).
There’s fun installations like Game of Bones (complete with a bone-trimmed throne), a grooming room with retro hair dryers called Doggy Style, Central Paws Park, a doggy ball pit, the Jimmy Chewed stylish shoe room, Paw Stars glamour room and a Christmas Santa Paws room for Christmas pet photos! Fur parents can stroll around with their four-legged pals and either strike a post with them, or let them be the star. Either way, prepare your followers for some serious pet spam.
