Fur-bulous activities and plenty of cute puppers await at the coast’s biggest dog market Paws at the Park
Imagine this – you enter a lush field where everywhere you look there are dogs frolicking with tails wagging and big smiles on their faces. You spot labradors, dachshunds, French bulldogs and cavalier king charles – the whole kit and cavoodle. Well this daydream can now be your reality, as Paws at the Park aka the largest dog market event of its kind in Australia is returning to Mudgeeraba Showgrounds. Mark Saturday November 7 in your calendar folks, as this is one adorable event you don’t want to miss!
The Gold Coast’s original and biggest dedicated dog market event, Paws at the Park, is back and heading for Mudgeeraba! Now in its fourth year, Paws at the Park is pulling out all of the stops with plenty of four-legged fun on the cards. You can expect more than 80 doggie-related stalls with pup-friendly treats (Hugo’s Ice Creamery will make an appearance), colourful collars, pawtrait opportunities, a pamper station so you can primp your pupper and a full schedule of exciting talks, demos and activities for you and your canine companion. There’s even a paint-and sip class so you can try your hand at immortalising your furry friend with a paintbrush.
The jam-packed event will also have live tunes filling the air, plenty of food trucks serving up delicious eats and a licensed bar so you can refresh with an ice-cold beverage. There will be an off-lead area (separated for big and small pups) as well as a fundraising raffle for Animal Welfare League with over $2000 in prizes to be won. Paws at the Park will kick off at 9:00 am on Saturday November 7 and run through until 1:00 pm. You’d be barking mad not to go!
