Paddock Sessions brings live tunes to Currumbin Valley
Currumbin Valley is a dreamy place to be – throw in some hay bales and live music, and you’ve for yourself a recipe for a wonderful Sunday afternoon. If you’re keen to tap your toes to some live beats as you soak up the views over Currumbin Valley, then you’ll want to hit Paddock Sessions on Sunday November 12.
Those familiar with the valley will know the long-standing Freeman’s Organic Farm – it’s nearly at the top of Tomewin Mountain Road. If not, then consider this your excuse to get acquainted with this glorious produce-filled property. Freeman’s will form the backdrop for Paddock Sessions, which is a brand-new series of outdoor live-music events being staged by local company Gigl.
The first Paddock Session will feature laid-back and super-talented lad Sean Fitzgerald. The open-air gig kicks off at 1:30 pm and there will be a limited number of hay bales for your seating pleasure – or just bring your own picnic blanket to sit and chill on. Keen? Same. Jump online to book your tickets. By the way, here’s a hot tip – head up earlier and do your fruit and veg shop at Freeman’s first … just saying.
