Noma: My Perfect Storm peers into the world’s best restaurant

If you fancy yourself a foodie, it’s likely you’re well familiar with René Redzepi and his restaurant. Noma: My Perfect Storm is a documentary that offers a glimpse into the unique mind of the gifted madman and it’s screening at The Arts Centre Gold Coast from February 8.

Accredited with revolutionising the entire world of gastronomy, René Redzepi is an acclaimed culinary innovator. The Noma; My Perfect Storm documentary is a creative journey into the unique mind of René and offers an insight into how he managed to invent the alphabet and vocabulary that would ultimately establish a new edible world while radically changing the image of the modern chef. As with all things that go up, they must inevitably come down, Noma; My Perfect Storm illustrates the challenges René faced as he fought his way back to the top, reinventing Noma and reclaiming the title of best restaurant in the world in 2014 for the fourth time.

Gold Coast audiences are being treated to an extra special screening on Monday February 8 with an exclusive Q&A with Chef Ben Devlin after the film. Ben has worked at Rene Redzepi’s Noma restaurant in Copenhagen, nabbed the 2014 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide Young Chef of the Year gong when he was at Esquire and is currently head chef at Paper Daisy.
