NightQuarter springs to life in Helensvale
The vacant site next to the train station in Helensvale has been transformed into NightQuarter, a bustling night market. The eagerly anticipated space officially opens this Saturday November 28.
Lined with upcycled shipping containers, NightQuarter is the Gold Coast’s newest creative playground and features micro-restaurants, fashion and a unique live music space. Open every Friday and Saturday night, NightQurter will showcase over 120 speciality food purveyors, designers and craftspeople within eight distinct and unique precincts. The micro-restaurant precinct, designated Tapas Street, is envisioned as an incubator for emerging Queensland chefs exploring food from all over the world using local produce. In addition, NightQuarter will also feature a custom wood-fired barbecue in The Backyard.
Beyond food, NightQuarter will become a new hub for the Gold Coast’s music scene with a 2000 capacity venue called The Paddock, six bar concepts, High Street, which will showcase up-and-coming designers, an interactive playground known as Sparky’s Carnival and The Alley, a market-style precinct featuring an eclectic mix of arts, crafts and homewares. Inspired by bazaars and bustling street markets around the world, NightQuarter will deliver a truly unique experience to the northern Gold Coast.
