Southern sounds – big names line up for the 2019 Mullum Music Festival
Music lovers, get your ears ready. An impressive line-up has been confirmed for this year’s Mullum Music Festival, which will take over the Northern Rivers township from November 14–17. The festival’s four-day lineup includes acts from Chile, South Africa, the US, UK, Ethiopia, Canada and the Solomon Islands, alongside a jam-packed local and national lineup.
Unlike most festivals, there are no gates, no VIP areas and no giant tents – at Mullum Music Festival, the artists and performers mingle and it’s very immersive for audiences, with performances held in the streets, cafes, pubs and halls of the quaint northern New South Wales town of Mullumbimby. This year, attendees will experience over 200 performances from some of the best acts across the globe.
Catch Australian alt-country outfit Wagon hot on the heels of its long-awaited comeback album, Songs From the Aftermath, as it experiments with a blend of Americana and alt-pop. Mojo Juju, who cleaned up at this year’s National Indigenous Music Awards, is also hitting the stage following the success of her album, Native Tongue. The lineup also includes Nano Stern, Sibusile Xaba, Alysha Brilla, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Harry James Angus and heaps more!
