Maleny Wedding Festival started more than a decade ago as a humble affair at the Maleny Manor. It has since grown to encompass nine of the most popular and picturesque venues across the Sunshine Coast. The day itself is free to attend and couples are welcome to meander from venue to venue where they can meet with vendors, soak in the atmosphere of each location and speak to the owners as you search for the perfect place to say “I do”. Each venue will offer an all-access pass, allowing you to slip behind the scenes, see the grounds dressed in their bridal finery and take home a venue-specific guide and planner. Whether you’re inspired by gorgeous estates, manicured gardens, breathtaking chapels or rainforest retreats, you are bound to find a venue that resonates with your vision. Participating venues along the trail include Flaxton Gardens, Goodwater Ridge, Montvale at Montville, Secrets on the Lake, The Old Dairy Maleny, Tiffany’s Maleny, Maleny Country Estate and Maleny Botanic Gardens.
Each venue will host a wide array of bespoke suppliers that offer up every wedding service under the sun. Think celebrants, stylists, hair and make-up artists, caterers, cake makers, vintage car owners, musicians, florists, food trucks, fashion and more. Perhaps the true beauty of the festival is that it genuinely takes the stress out of organising your big day. Once you find a venue that sparks your imagination, you can work with its preferred suppliers who know the ins, outs and finer details required to pull off the perfect day. Now, it wouldn’t be wedding planning without a glass of bubbly or two to help you relax. Maleny Wedding Festival offers not only that, but venues will be putting their best foot forward with nibbles and entertainment so that you and your fiance can have fun as you stroll and chat with suppliers.
