International and local short films on display at In The Bin Film Festival

On of Australia’s most famous short film festivals In The Bin returns to Currumbin to showcase the best in short film from around Australia and abroad.

While short films are a difficult format to master, its popularity amongst film savvy fanatics cannot be denied. Film festivals around the world include short film sections on its program, yet there are few film festivals that are dedicated to showcasing short films exclusively.

In The Bin Film Festival is Australia’s largest touring film festival that shows only short films. As part of the Queensland Touring Film Festival program, In The Bin screens six award-winning shorts along with one feature in an outdoor setting. This is an event that is suitable for all ages so grab the family, a picnic blanket and some snacks and head to the Village Green at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday March 14 to see some of the world’s best short films on a big screen. In The Bin Film Festival is a part of the Bleach* Festival, taking place along the Gold Coast throughout March.
