Get your feast on at the Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival
While the temperature may be plummeting, things are heating up at NightQuarter with the inaugural Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival from June 3 to 26. The month long festival of food showcases local talent, produce and culinary artistry.
Every Friday and Saturday night in June, NightQuarter will become a foodies mecca as the Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival dishes up a delicious line-up of entertainment, from degustations to demonstrations. The festival kicks off on Friday June 3 with the opening night soiree featuring a Sirromet champagne tower, a gigantic croquembouche and gourmet canapes created by some of the coast’s most celebrated Executive Chefs including QT Gold Coast’s Greg Benney, Dean Brewer from Atlanta Bar and Greek and Restaurant Lurleen’s Victor Marmysz.
Among the other festival highlights is an emerging chef progressive seven-course degustation dinner (with matching wines, of course) on June 10, Australia vs America barbecue wars on June 18 and wine appreciation with Sirromet Winery’s Chief Winemaker, Adam Chapman on June 17.
