Food culture is thriving on the coast as residents are coming to expect the best. The Food and Wine Expo celebrates the finer things in life, with top nosh from across Australia being exhibited this weekend.
From Friday January 30 to February 1, the Gold Coast Convention Centre will play host to dozens of producers, providores, wineries and more when the Gold Coast Food and Wine Expo takes over. On show will be sweet treats, organic wines, fresh produce, cheeses, olives, ciders and beers – and that’s just a small portion of what can be found.
In addition to the veritable bounty of exhibitors and giveaways, attendees will be able to catch cooking demonstrations from some of Australia’s leading culinary experts. Celebrity chefs such as MasterChef’s Ben Milbourne and My Kitchen Rules favourites Carly and Tresne will be cooking up a storm on the celebrity cooking stage throughout the weekend, while other professionals will be demonstrating how to cook delicious restaurant quality meals.
