With flavoursome fare, flowing drinks and live entertainment, this enchanting evening is a chance to network and connect with industry representatives and filmmakers.

Festival regulars will be pleased to know that the festival’s fan-favourite SIPFest (Shorts in Paradise) is back in 2024 and will be taking over HOTA’s Outdoor Stage. Showcasing 15 of the best short films from around the world, the competition culminates in the live announcement and presentation of the SIPFest award categories and gives audiences the opportunity to vote for their favourites on the night.

To finish off the movie marathon there will be the Queensland premiere and red carpet gala on Sunday April 28 for the must-see drama, Bleeding Love, which sees Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting, Star Wars) and his real-life daughter Clara McGregor (American Horror Story, Christopher Robin) play father and daughter. The film follows the two on a road trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the two try to reconcile their relationship along the way.
