Sip your way through the country's best brews at the Gold Coast Beer Festival

Sip your way through the country’s best brews at the Gold Coast Beer Festival

Beer lovers, you need to set Saturday June 2 aside – the inaugural Gold Coast Beer Festival is coming! The festival is being held at NightQuarter and will see a bunch of famed local and interstate brewers under one roof, with connoisseurs and beers swillers alike invited to taste their way through the best of the best and celebrate all things amber.

The Gold Coast Beer Festival, which forms part of the Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival being held from May 31 to June 3, will kick off at midday on Saturday June 2, with a day and night full of beers, street food, live music and more. The festival will take place in NightQuarter’s The Paddock event space and will feature some of the best names in craft brewing like Furphy, Byron Bay Brewery, Stone & Wood, Eumundi Brewery, Panhead Custom Ales, Black Hops Brewing, Lost Palms Brewing Co., New Zealand’s Wakachangi and more!

Expect to be schooled on what you’re sipping with the brewmasters themselves on hand to take you through their beer and cider offerings. Sampling will be the key here, with festival guests encouraged to create their own personalised beer-tasting paddle before getting involved in workshops, demonstrations, tastings and competitions. NightQuarter’s full street-food offering will be on hand, while The Long Johns and Round Mountain Girls will help set the scene with sweet live tunes. More brewers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks – jump over here to keep up to date.
