Comedy’s finest are uniting for the knee-slapping GC Laughs Festival
In the mood for a giggle? You’re in luck as GC Laughs Festival is making a triumphant return to HOTA this March and it’s armed with a stacked bill of comedic heavyweights and homegrown hilarity. Held from March 17–26, the sensational showcase will deliver more than a week’s worth of non-stop laughs.
We hope you’ve been doing your kegels, because this line-up is chock-full of comedy gold. For its fifth incarnation, GC Laughs Festival welcomes a raucous roster of local talent alongside international comedic acts who will perform across ten nights. Kicking things off in sensational style will be the much-loved GC Laughs Gala on Friday March 17, which is touted as the Gold Coast’s biggest comedy showcase. The Gala event serves up a couple of solid hours of zingers to make you chuckle, chortle and cackle like never before.
Get your giggling gear ready for a fair few laughs courtesy of Australian talent including Akmal, Rove McManus, Tommy Little, Browyn Kuss, Sandeep Totlani, Luke Heggie, Lawrence Mooney, Tom Ballard, Geraldine Hickey, and Simon Taylor. The best in the international comedy biz will also be joining the line-up too with shows from Mike Goldstein, Larry Dean, Stephen K Amos, Schalk Bezuidenhout and Dusty Rich. To close out the festival, top-tier performer Daniel Sloss will be arriving at HOTA on April 4 with a stand-up show that can’t be missed!
