Indulge your short attention span at Flickerfest 2016

With the average attention span falling to just eight measly seconds, Flickerfest 2016 is perfectly suited to modern audiences bringing some of the world’s best short films to The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Friday February 19.

If you struggle to stay interested in a feature length movie, Flickerfest 2016 is for you! Celebrating 25 years of hot shorts, Flickerfest is Australia’s leading Academy Accredited and BAFTA recognised short film festival, presenting A-list short film programs recognised amongst the best in the world.

This year, the festival includes ‘Slingshot’, an amusing analogy on modern love told through the eyes of one of its latest victims, ‘Nan and a Whole Lot of Trouble’, which tackles cultural taboos in a hilarious and inappropriate way and ‘Je Suis Un Crayon’ by local Gold Coast filmmaker family Joe and Carol D’Arcy. The film was inspired by the 3-million people in France who marched in support of unity, peace and freedom of expression. Be thoroughly entertained, inspired and enthralled at Flickerfest 2016.
