The Festival of Small Halls rolls into Mudgeeraba

Delight your earholes with stunning folk and contemporary acoustic music at The Festival of Small Halls.

The Festival of Small Halls, produced by the Woodford Folk Festival in partnership with a bunch of other local festivals, brings together some of the best folk and contemporary acoustic artist from Australia and abroad and send them on a road trip to play tiny halls all over this fine country.

This year, the festival is bringing the enchanting Canadian folk, Americana and alt-country singer songwriter Del Barber to showcase his fourth album Prairieography as well as the brilliantly talented The Mae Trio from Victoria.

The initiative, based on an idea from Prince Edward Island in Canada, is set to roll out in most areas of Australia over the next three years to deliver sweet soulful sounds to regional communities that may not have the facilities to host major festivals.

Audiences can expect a beautiful night of original folk and acoustic music from amazingly talented artists. Events are all ages and family friendly.

The Festival of Small Halls is on Thursday December 18 at the Mugeeraba Memorial Hall. To purchase tickets, visit the website.
