Free Sunday sessions and gold-tier concerts – five must-see Feedback Festival gigs

After months of dancing bans and mostly quiet venues, a brand-new live music concept – Feedback Festival – is set to inject a dose of much-needed musical goodness into the Gold Coast. It’s all happening over ten spellbinding nights across multiple venues, from Thursday December 3 until Sunday December 13. To get you pumped for some music festival fun, we’ve hand-picked five not-to-be-missed concerts featuring some stellar local acts.

Lastlings at Miami Marketta
Gold Coast synth-pop duo Lastlings are taking over Feedback Festival with four intimate shows at Miami Marketta. The brother and sister combo, who announced their debut album earlier in the year, will be delivering a groovin’ gig that will satiate fans and soon-to-be followers. If you want to be front and centre for this enchanting evening of beats, there’s one last gig with tickets still available – Thursday December 4 at 8:30 pm. Rush here to secure yours.

The Golden Weekend at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse – Day one
This Feedback Festival concert series is called The Golden Weekend for a very good reason – the roster of musicians is a treasure chest of top-quality artists. Day one of the rock-and-rolling weekend kicks off on Friday December 4 at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse and features live tunes from Brisbane surf-rock-pop four-piece Shag Rock, Gold Coast songstress Lily Papas and punk-rock outfit Chilli Gomez. Make tracks here to get your hands on some tickets.

The Golden Weekend at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse – Day two
Day two of the has-to-be-seen-to-be-believed music-fuelled weekend is even bigger! Saturday December 5 will see an all-out mini-fest taking over Mo’s Desert Clubhouse. There will be food trucks slinging tasty snacks, and two stages set up to host Brisbane band BUGS, alt-pop outfit Donny Love and live sets from Ashleigh Mannix, Katie Who, Heavy Wax, Smells Like Nanna’s House and 8-Mile Yacht Club DJs. Make like Charlie and nab your golden ticket here.

Peach Fur + Radolscent at elsewhere
Gold Coast-based four-piece Peach Fur has a loyal fan base that vibe with its unique blend of psychedelic surf rock meets indie-pop. On Friday December 11, Peach Fur will be taking the stage at Surfers Paradise venue elsewhere with local punk outfit Radolescent for a night of killer melodies. Eager for a night out on the town? Karl S Williams at HOTA
