Fans Corner is dedicated to all things Commonwealth Games. The pop-up space features a huge outdoor beer garden that can comfortably accomodate you and 999 of your closest friends alongside multiple bars and even a couple of food trucks. All of the sporting action will be broadcast live on a huge television that will bring you right up close, so close you can practically smell the athletes’ sweat.

Do you know what goes well with sport? Beer. Well, you’re in luck because there will be beers and cocktails on tap thanks to the fine folk at The Yak Float and The Cocktail Cart. Box Coffee Co will have all of your caffeinated beverages taken care of and Barraca food truck will be dishing out its signature Portuguese street food. If you’re not familiar with the fare, think wings, burgs and bowls that are cooked with fire, passion and plenty of chilli. Streets ice-cream truck will also be serving up the sweet treats. Fans Corner is open from 12:00–8:00 pm from Thursday April 5 to 14 so pull up a bean bag or nab yourself a picnic table, you may be here a while. Oh and entry is free. Hurrah!
