Falls Festival reveals its killer New Year line-up featuring Arctic Monkeys, Lil Nas X and Chvrches
Summer festival season is officially back, baby! Beloved end-of-year music fest Falls Festival has just dropped word of its massive roster of artists performing across its three-day event. In addition to bringing some big-name international acts to our shores, Falls Festival‘s line-up will also feature an on-the-pulse selection of Australia’s best music artists.
Remember when we could pack the car with tents, sleeping bags and provisions and hightail it down the M1 for Falls Festival? It’s been a minute since live-music festivals have been on the cards, but now, with the announcement of Falls Festival’s dates and artist line-up it seems like things are finally returning to a sense of normalcy. This year Falls returns with news of new locations for its Victoria and West Australia iterations, while Brisbane and Gold Coast locals will be stoked to hear the festival will return to the North Byron Parklands in Yelgun from Saturday December 31 2022 to Monday January 2 2023.
Famed for helping punters ring in the new year with music, dance and relaxation, Falls Festival notoriously pulls out all the stops when it comes to its roster of talent – and 2022/2023 will be no exception. This year’s headliners are some of the biggest international acts on the planet – we’re talking indie-rock legends Arctic Monkeys, hip-hop wunderkind Lil Nas X, electropop maestros Chvrches, superstar South Korean DJ Peggy Gou, beloved record producer and DJ Jamie XX and American rapper Aminé. Bolstering this esteemed list are a who’s who of Australian musical talent, including Amyl and the Sniffers, Ocean Alley, Spacey Jane, DMA’s, G Flip, and more.
Tickets for this year’s Falls Festival go on sale on Thursday May 12 through Moshtix. See you there?
