The Design Collective brings its Eat Make Grow markets back to The Lanes this July

Purveyors of all things cool, The Design Collective, is bringing the next instalment of the uber-popular Eat Make Grow markets back to The Lanes in Mermaid Waters on Saturday July 15. Loosen the belt buckles, pop the dancing shoes on, and get ready for a night of food and fun under the stars.

The open-air twilight food and produce market is held at The Lanes, a planned leisure/lifestyle retail village that will form part of The Sunland Group’s new residential community The Lakes Residences. The Lanes, which is due for completion in 2021, will feature a market square, retail spaces and dining venues – but until then, the site will transform into a regular foodie hub via the Eat Make Grow markets, which features food stalls and trucks, vintage stalls and makers markets.

Pals, grab your crew, throw in some camping chairs, and head to The Lanes (the massive corner parcel off Hooker Boulevard) and relax under the stars … and the bunting … and the fairy lights. It will all kick off at 2:00 pm, with more than 40 food options (woah) including gourmet food trucks, sweet treats and deli fare. Entry is free, which means you’ll have more money to spend at the amazing line-up of vintage and designer stalls. Head to The Design Collective’s Facebook to stay updated on the event closer to the date.
