Easterfest set to liven up the school holidays

From April 5 to April 12, The Marine Village at Sanctuary Cove will host an Easter eggstravaganza that the whole family can enjoy.

When the supermarket aisles are packed full with chocolate bunnies and the smell of freshly baked hot cross buns fill the air you know it it’s Easter time. While for many of us Easter is an excuse for us to eat our weight in chocolate, it helps to be reminded that Easter can also double as an occasion to be with family and have a little fun. In 2015, Sanctuary Cove has raised its hand to be the number one location to celebrate Easter this year.

Easterfest is a weeklong festival that boasts a plethora of family-friendly activities that will be kicking off on Easter Sunday. On April 5 The Marine Village will be hosting a stack of Easter-themed activities including the Easter Buggy Parade, an Easter egg challenge, jumping castles, pony rides and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself. For the rest of the week, Sanctuary Cove will be hosting a variety of school holiday activities every day from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is the perfect alternative to making yourself sick with chocolate – head along to Sanctuary Cove and join in on the fun.
