Doug Anthony Allstars prepare for death at The Arts Centre

Comedy legends Doug Anthony Allstars (D.A.A.S), Tim Ferguson, Paul McDermott and Paul ‘Flacco’ Livingston, bring their special brand of naughty humour to The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Friday November 13.

Death. Sex. Horror. The ingredients for a great night of comedy! The show Near Death Experience promises to leave no socio, political or rolling stone unturned. No one is safe. Now there is a new generation to terrorise and delight with its irreverently Australian humour. Their musical comedy is more wicked and dangerous than ever. Wracked by illness and age, this trio has no time to waste. Paul McDermott warns death approaches, we have nothing to lose, while Paul Livingston says death is coming, look busy!

The pressures of touring are intense with these aging performers. Paul Livingston identified as ‘on the spectrum’, Tim Ferguson is wheelchair-bound with MS and Paul McDermott has nominated himself as primary carer. The usual cheery chaos will ensue. Since their rebirth in 2013, D.A.A.S have broken box-office records don’t miss your chance to see these living comedy legends, while they are just that – living!
