The popular Cocktails for a Cure event, now in its second year, will see Cabana Bar & Lounge come alive on Sunday March 19 to shine the light on breast cancer awareness, with a target of raising $5,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). The complimentary cocktail on arrival will get you in the mood for a fun and food-filled afternoon, with awesome raffles, lucky door prize and live acoustic entertainment by the talented musician Eleea Nevarro and Michael Eotvos. Cabana Bar have put together a themed cocktail list for the event, featuring the Pink Ribbon cocktail with peach vodka infused with raspberries, peach schnapps, lemonade and fresh strawberries. Upon arrival, you’ll be treated to The Cure cocktail, with Pavan liqueur, prosecco rose and pineapple juice – a sweet delight for a fabulous cause.

The Cabana Bar kitchen will also be pumping out its tasty tapas fare, so expect a foodie line-up with the likes of the chorizo croquettes and the mouth-watering beef and maple bacon sliders on the menu. Oh, and finish it all off with a bourbon brownie! The fundraising event was originally inspired by Cabana Bar & Lounge manager, Tanja Meyer, who was inspired to host a NBCF fundraiser after her partner’s mother, Betty Underwood, experienced breast cancer. Tickets to the event are just $20, with all proceeds going directly to the NBCF. Proceeds from all raffle tickets and $2 from every select cocktail sold will also go towards the cause.
